    (26 items)

Found these down inside a box of items my grandfather had saved for me. Definitely not in the greatest condition but still pretty cool old coins.

1900 Morgan dollar with the O mint mark
1923 Peace dollar with no mint mark
1888 Morgan dollar with the S mint mark (badly discolored)
1949 Franklin half dollar with no mint mark
1963 Franklin half dollar with the D mint mark
1929 standing liberty quarter (very worn)
1947 dime with no mint mark

Thanks for the information mustangtony, I know virtually nothing about coins. My first instinct when I pulled them from the box was to try to make them shiny and pretty lol glad I didnt

Am I safe to assume that any value they hold will continue to increase over the years? If so I would just put them away and save them for my own children for when they get older. Also, would you suggest that I send that particular one to get graded or let them do that at a later time. They are only 6 and 13 so it will be quite a long time before they would get them

I appreciate your help very much. I know my kids will be happy to have something from their great grandfather when they get older, i'll be sure to buy the envelopes and share the information with them
