Picked these up yesterday from a fav antique shop .Didn't get a fantastic deal but it was a good one.About 2/3 of actual value but some nice pieces.

These look great under UV, may i ask, what are they?

These are fluorescent minerals from the Franklin Mine and the nearby Sterling Hill mine in NJ.These were taken under shortwave blacklight but some do fluoresce under longwave (common poster blacklight).I am attaching a couple of links...the second one has a serious WOW factor.Check it out .

I had a chance to buy one geode with a chunk of gold in it that fluoresced...I wish I had. these 3 are beauts Hedgewalker
