(((( Made a decision going on all the great in put, many thanks to you all!... changing it!.. one day I will get it right...:-)))))
I went a bit mad and bought three vase from a lovely lady in the US last week...this wonderful vase and a fabulous pair of Kraliks.
They arrived today... and I have to admit I was awaiting their arrival with great anticipation but! had no need to worry the best packed glass..ever!
This!.. a stunning Kralik vase with deep dark purple, white and peppermint green marbleized feathering decor and gorgeous all over iridescent colourings, which is impossible to photograph it also glows wonderfully strong under a black light...
Standing 17cm or 6.70 inches tall.
I am really pleased to have this lovely vase.
Thank you for looking...:-)
Absolutely gorgeous!! Very, very jealous. I would love one of these!
May I suggest another possibility...Kralik. The bottom looks a lot like the bottoms on the barber bottles I used to have (Alfredo has some of them now). Kralik used the pulled decor as well, but the shape of the bottom part is very close to the bottles.

I would have bought it too. Nice find!
Oh inky! It is just FABULOUS!! Wonderful colours and decor - just truly Fabulous!! : ) Well done you!
Gosh! I have allot of people to thank, thank you all so much...it's wonderful...:-)..
StG.. thank you so much I have always wanted one too!...:-)
czechman thank you for the lovely complement, appreciated!...:-)
JayHow..exactly! how can you not.. for just all the reasons you said...and I doooo!...:-)
Phil!..a complement indeed from one who has quite a few 'masterpieces'...:-)
dlfd911....I looked at the Kralik.. both! for a long time... extremely similar but a few subtle differences and I thought shape and decor leaned a little towards Rindskopf...though! I would be just as happy with Kralik, as I love it anyway... and again I thought long and hard about saying it was Rindskopf as I never seem to get it right, but I felt 85% certain and someone will put me right... I do want to be right.. do you really think..Kralik?.. I need to learn! so thank you for your input!...:-)
With this pulled decor it's hard to tell between them, so I usually end up using the shape to determine. But I'll hold out and see what Alfredo says.
Justanovice, BELLIN68... thank you my dear friends for the lovely words... much appreciated!...:-)

dlfd911.. I don't know why... but! now I feel nervous...:-/
Gary, it's not a barber's bottle. I was trying to say the shape of the bottom of this vase looks exactly like the bottoms of the barber bottles in my link, as if they were from the same mold. Inky, don't be nervous, you can't go wrong, as it doesn't matter which one made it. Just for fun, have you tried a UV light on it?
Gary..would you like the measurement from the inside of the flared rim or the approx of the 'waist' area just below?
Yes! very gloweee!..:-)
OK Gary, I read it too fast and missed that.
When I looked at the barber's bottles the bottoms flared out and this tapered in, just one of the subtle differences I mentioned!...:-)
No!... not that wide...the inside rim measures 1.1/2 inches!...any help?...:-)
Yes! thank you czechman..I agree with you...:-)
I have added another angle of the base...:-)
You always have the most amazing pieces of glass...so beautiful.
Thank you RhondaCorvallis that's a lovely thing for you to say... but I am very lucky!!....:-)
it reminds me of this piece of mine
http://www.thegildedcurio.com/item-30.html
in base glass and shape
Yes!... I can see the similarities but to me anyway! I can also see quite a few differences... on mine the base seems more in proportion, where as yours is smaller with the body being taller and slimmer, the rim seems more flared on mine with a more defined pinched in neck, and more bulbous after that which then tapers down, which of course all may mean nothing!...:-)....yours is a lovely piece of glass!..how tall is yours
oh mine is much bigger than this. mine is 12 or 13 inches tall. I just meant the shape and neck of the piece and base color is similar.
the color of mine isn't cased like yours though.
Yes! lol... I could see that your lovely vase was much taller, I was just interested in how much taller... :-)
Hi Inky another stunner... Do you have a photo looking straight on?
Love it -but pretty sure its not Rindskopf as the pulling and feathering does not have enough colours for Rindskopf. This is part of a definite family of opal and green-opal vases with just reds and whites feathered and pulled. I'm still calling them Kralik for the want of a better attibution. Passau has moved a few of them to Fritz Heckert but I think that's one step too far. (ie its based on matching a few pretty standard shapes). Whatever it is - it is wonderfull
ozmarty... I have a photo of it side on for you!..hope this helps.. do I change it...do I leave it...what to do?...what to do!??....:-)
(((((((( >>>>........Many! thanks to all the loves and in-put on this beautiful vase of mine...I very much appreciated every single comment and thoughts you all had on it.... it has been fun!........<<<<))))))))
Woah, Nellie! Hope Blunderbuss doesn't see this -- he might start collecting vases!

miKKo.. you think this might be the one that does it!?... although I have seen others that I have seen his name and tick of love on, he thinks not but I have!!!..:-)))
Many thanks Manikin!....:-)
Hi, inky! Haven't been on CW lately, but had to respond to your Comment No. 40. : )) Yes, this could be the one that afflicts Blunderbuss with the dreaded vase disease! I think I recall Blunderbuss loving a violet vase with gold flourishes on your page, but I didn't know that he had been detected loving other vases as well! What is the world coming to! Take care, kind lady. Can't wait to see what you post next. : D
