I love this happy yellow sun lamp, and have had it in my kitchen for 25+ years. Bought it from a used furniture store many moons ago. Does anyone know what it is; e.g. maker, age? I'd like to find another so that I could use them as a pair. My bet is that it's 60's or 70's. No labels or marks on it anywhere -- at least, thet I can find. The sun is approx. 13.5" across and 25.5" high (from base to top of ceramic portion), He's ceramic, and has been glazed/fired. Modest crackling in the glaze. There's a face on each side. Glazing is slightly different on each side. For what it's worth, he seems very well/substantially made. The shade's not original: It's something which I thought worked with the lamp. If anyone can suggest a better fit, terrific !
