Carved wooden family of four

This family of four hand carved with no faces hardly, I polished them, they were pretty dull when they arrived. I know nothing about them. How old or where they were made. Waldorf dolls do not have faces so kids use there imagination. Waldorf schools started in Germany around 1919, but I am guessing, and probably wrong. What to do with this family? I do not know. I guess it is folk art! Wood may be maple? Thanks for looking! Don
