Something I came across in my grandmothers house during our recent move. There are no distinguishing marks on it such as date, who made it, etc. The bottom is a brown felt that feels like it covers a hollow spot that goes up into the lamp. So far, its my new rooms lamp and does a fine job.

I have a lamp with the same painting on it. the lamp is simalar as well but mine is white. If you find any info on who made yours or where it was made could you let me know. I cant find anything anywhere. sterlingcee@hotmail.com

Sandpiper, Have you found out anymore about your George and Martha lamp. I have one as well . The felt on the bottom is gone, but I can not find any manufacturing marks inside either. When you find out something email me or I you if I find our anything.
I also have a larger lamp with a floral design on it , I can't find anything on it as well.
Sandpiper, I also have my grandmother's antique lamp that is similar to yours. It is white and maroon, with different handles at the top. It has the same picture of George and Martha Washington, and is embossed with gold. Mine has green felt at the bottom that is coming off, and has a P-10 under the base. It also has a very small label on the side, but part of the label is missing. On the label, it has "Peri or Perl". If you find out anything else, please let me know.
