This came from a flea market-28 inches tall, green glass, Property of Coca-Cola, Hutchinson style bottle, I have not seen anything like this before. Does anyone know what it is? The guy it was purchased from said it was about 100 years old(this was in 2000).

This bottle comes in a four pack

yes-I have seen the small 4 pack bottles before. This is a 28inch tall bottle-not one you would buy in the grocery store-it is a very large version of the ones that were sold with the Coke in them. I have only found one other post on the internet that someone else had seen this before, but got zero info about the bottle from the post. I also saw this same bottle(just like mine) on a rerun episode of "Bones"-the hoarder episode.

I don't think they made Hutch bottles this size 100 years ago. More likely, this is one size in a series of commemorative display bottles manufactured during the 1990's-2000's. Here's an example of a 20" size, identical in design to yours. It may have a little value, not sure. But not a big ticket item like an old, authentic Coca-Cola Hutchinson bottle, which can go for thousand$$. Yours is a cool display piece.

I checked the link provided, but this is still not what I have. The script on mine is not the same as the picture. The script on mine is identical to the original Hutch bottle, not the modern looking script. also, mine is 28 inches tall, not 20 inches.

Mystery solved! I actually got one in my collection. This was sold in the employee store omly and not a lot has been made. According to the guy I bought this from that this was made in the 80's early 90's. When I did further research on this, the company licensed to make this 28" size is no longer in business.

This bottle is from the 1990s and is in Petritti's guide in the reproduction section in the back. Its book value is $125.00 and the book says "1990s" for the year. I have the 28 inch one too. The box I recieved it in has "1996" written on the side and reads "Beaumont Glass Company Morgantown, West Virginia 26505 Quality glass products since 1905."

What information does anyone have about giant display bottle replicas of old bottles besides the hutch one?

Sorry I am late getting back to everyone's posts about my bottle. This new info completely ties up the loose ends I had. My father paid a guy at a local flea market ( in Morgantown, wv) $100 back around 2000(give or take a couple of years). I did not have a box for mine-just the bottle. I am so glad I have a history on the bottle now. I really appreceate all of research you all have put into this-I could not have gotten to the bottom of the mystery without help!
