I have a30 x 46 inch BLATZ MILWAUKEE BEER SIGN.It is 2 identical signs 1 on each side of a metal box it was once a neon sign .Can anyone tell me more about it an what it is worth any help would be appreciated. THANKS It is signed in bottom middle ALLISON MILWAUKEE I have it over 30 yrs it came out of old store in Pyote,TEXAS Can any body give me any information on this sign, how old,it is.what the apprasil price would be.
If it was hung in TX it would have more bullet holes!
surprised me to but there was a little blood on it
You don't know TX or you wouldn't be surprised. Pieces of "crime scene" tape wouldn't even catch a Texan's attention.
GREAT sign but terrrible beer!

Your sign dates back to the 40s and would have had neon where Blatz was. It would have hung outside of a bar or distributor. Being porcelain makes it a really desirable piece. Value would be in the $850-$1000 range as Blatz is not a huge selling or collectible brewery. If it were a smaller brewery, probably would be able to double the value. With that being said, if you ever decide to part with the sign, I collect vintage beer signs prior to 1960 and would love to add this to my collection and add neon to the sign and bring it back to life. Thanks for your time.
Ad song on the radio in Chicage for this Milwaukie, WI beer..
