I have had a couple of people ask to see the corner of my dining room.
The table is one of two (the other is my sister's and bigger) and I was told that it was from the mid 1800s. It is very intricate and heavy.
The lady lamp is a repro from the 1990s. She is really nice repro, so I kept her.
The chair is one of two. I have them both. Believe it is called a ballon chair...balloon back?...told late 1800, early 1900s. Very comfortable. Got them from my Mom, offloading her house. (sure I'll take it!)

Hi Amber! Tuesdat morning here and the eagle has landed! Giuseppina has now joined Turi. The two look great together and both are eyeing off an Alessi bowl of gorgeous pasta! They can't say it is a dust catcher. The Tuesday shop was closed because of Passover, I think and I got home to a wonderful surprise. Thanks again from Kev and Paul. Happy Easter to one and all!

Floods! We had seepage, no power and the small creek turn to a huge river. All of our neighbors had 4 feet (!) of water in their basements. It has been bad. I was lucky that a pipe fitter buddy did some magic to block the sewer entry to my house. No power for 18 hours demolished all the fridge food ($$$) and it was a giant mess.
Did I mention hubby out of town? Good times :))

OMG AmberRose! I am soo sorry for your frustration and horrible time you have had without your hubby :( I can only imagine the scare and worry you must have had! If there is anything I can do...let me know...please! Call me for anything!
