I inherited this brooch from my grandmother and so it is really dear to me.
It looks like brass machine turned filigree and czech glass to me. I even like the backside of this brooch.
It has the twenties spirit hanging around it. When I look at it, I see Tut's tomb being discovered, flapper girls dancing the night away.
My grandmother was born in 1912, so maybe this was one of the first jewelry pieces she bought.
It reminded me of the brooch valentino97 posted earlier, although not even close to its beauty.
Thanks AmberRose, PhilDavidAlexanderMorris, ginger59 and vetraio50 for the love

Thanks BELLIN68 and valentino97 for the comment and the love
Maybe it could be a Neiger brothers "heart petal" brooch?
Katzl, I absolutely LOVE Neiger jewelry. It looks a bit familiar but I m not convinced mine is Neiger.
Thanks for your comment!
Me too!! Neiger or not, your brooch is lovely.
I think it's hard (for me being an amateur) to recognise what could be Neiger or not when it comes to these pieces which are not the "most typical".
It would be very interesting to learn more!
Beautiful!
Thanks Elisabethan, verontique, sarahoff, officialfuel, manikin, DrFluffy, Katzl, antuquarius, musikchoo and nutsabotas6 for loving my brooch!
