This doll seems unusual because it is hand signed with a marker or brush and I was told by the owner that it was hand made one of a kind.
Does anyone know anything about this doll or have any thoughts or opinions negative or positive about it.
I purchased an entire doll collection of more than 100 dolls from this same person so I have about 4 or 5 that I have questions about and will post questions.

Hi you doll was most likely made in a doll making class , you would do the painting and they supplied the doll mold of head and arms . You made the body and clothes . These dolls are always to be signed by who made it and it was a woman named Laura in 81 ( 1981) It is just how she wrote in write brush strokes that you ask about ? I would say she just choose that size paint brush . The cute dolls were popular in late 1970s to 1990's . They were cheaper than buying a original antique bisque doll . They have no real value in money as they flooded the market with them , class made dolls, factory and artist dolls . They make for cute displays if a person likes them . But resale is pretty low . Thanks again. I was asking because the woman I bought the doll from thought that it was a famous doll maker, or at least well known.
By the way do they still have doll making classes. I am an art teacher I can think of alot of things I could do with that skill.
