I'm trying to figure out what type/age this trunk is. I've had it for years, and finally have the time to restore it. Any information would be greatly appreciate. Thank.

You have a 1900's dome top trunk. Would love to see the results of the restoration.

Is there a way to know year/maker, what type of metal I'm dealing with, etc...

Without a label, year and maker will remain unknown -- too many companies made this same type this same way. It is covered in thin tin. Hope this helps a little...
