Hey,
I have about 80 stereotyping blocks and have no clue what to do about them. They are metal zinc plates bolted on wood and some are memorials, latin texts, religious depictions, swastica's, and all sorts oid different subjects.
They range in size, but I'd say the biggest one is about 25cm so not very big (therefore text quite hard to read).
The only one I know anything about seems to be one of the oldest and it's from one of Sir Francis Drake's book, and the same inscription and image are on a plate in a Cathedral in York (first picture attached).
Can anyone help please? I am contacting people every day and all the information is very ambiguous.
