I have one exactly like yours. Family once lived in Springfield. Would also like to share in any information you gather. All I could find was an newspaper advert from 1924, but one antique website commentator says the company started in the late 30's. Another site said this table was common (not particularly valuable). I am not an expert. The table is very sturdy for its appearance.

I will let you know what I find out. I know they are trying to put the buildings on the National Register. I have sent photos to a local expert. I have not had a reply. It seems as though no one knows much about the company. They are well made and solid Walnut. Please let me know if you find out more.

      Hi all,

My grandfather was the Vice President of Queen City Woodworks, Ralph Randall. He had a lifelong passion for woodworking and furniture building that has since been passed down through our family. Though he was not the only carpenter, he did personally construct many of the pieces. Walnut was his favorite wood of choice. The company closed several decades ago, but I often find some of Queen City's pieces in antique shops throughout the Springfield area. Due to the company's small size, Queen City Woodworks' pieces don't have much monetary value, other than the sentimentality of the product being local to the Springfield area.

      Hope this helps!
