I could not find any marks/watermarks identifying this old Brilliant Cut Glass Hair Receiver and the closest that I have come to identifying the pattern is either the Pairpoint "Colias" pattern or their "Daisy & Butterfly" pattern. I could be completely way off and it may be by someone else's. Were all Pairpoint Cut Glass items marked or could this be another unmarked A.B.C.G or European maker's ware.
The predominant Cut pattern is a Daisy, a Butterfly and some dainty flowers and leaves around the body of the receiver and a 24 points star pattern under-base. The lid is decorated with similar matching leaves and a notched outer rim. It measures 4 3/8" in diameter (base) and 3" tall with lid on. Thanks for your input everyone, RER BOB) LOUMANAL
