One of the many goodies that were in my late father-in-laws shop and I recently found in my husbands! It is a Village Bath Products Cocoanut creme Shampoo. I have searched and searched (or should I say googled...) and found nothing. I have learned a lot though on history of shampooing hair. I am guessing this bottle to be somewhere between 1940s-1960s but I could be way off. The glass bottle measures 7 inches tall without the stopper in it. The stopper is possibly bakelite or not even the correct stopper but it does fit snug. On the bottom is the number 10 in a circle. The black marking on the bottom, top and neck could be other peeled off labels, grease...anything coming from inside a greasy shop. Really have no idea. I'm sure my father-in-law at one time had something stored in it. Any help would be appreciated.
