Another find that was late father-in-laws. The one gallon can seems to be in decent shape, considering it is still full, not sure what year it is from. I can find nothing on the can itself to date it. The one side has my husbands uncles' name on it from Cuba, NY with a price of $3.95 either penciled in or scratched on. Sure was cheap as today an 8.5 fluid ounce in the commissary is $4.59! The same side even tells you how to keep it pure should it ferment or get mold. Do I dare open it and see? ;-) I think I will just enjoy it for what it is unopened. Now let's all get some pancakes and enjoy the syrup and maybe some maple sugar on the side.
Hasn't solidified yet, can still hear it sloshing! lol
