i saw a bunch of old stuff put out to trash in front of a house in my neighborhood tonight and pulled over. in an old box were these four 6 inch california tiles. i don't know the company - Taylor? D & M? Malibu? - but they are wonderful! one of the tiles is broken, but all the pieces are there. i have several iron frames which i might put these in or i might look for a perfect one at the flea markets. i love finding cool stuff in the trash!
Very pretty
I have picked up tons of treasures from the trash! It a bonus!
It was also look cool as a table top.
Beautiful!
thank you nldionne, amberrose, maryh1956 and bellin68!
i believe it was a tabletop at one point. i'm looking for a very nice, wrought iron table base to mount it in. i have quite a few of these old california tiles i've picked up over the years, but these are particularly beautiful ones.

thanks seaking67, i've managed to collect quite a few old california tiles over the years. i think that this is a D & M Turtle design. some people say that Hispano Moroesque was made by D & M, while others disagree. i don't know, but the pattern matches exactly a pattern known as 'Turtle'.
