This beautiful Victorian Amethyst (1880-1900) brooch is made of 15K yellow gold. With a beautiful setting of gems around the 2.5 carat stunning colored Amethyst and this is also the centerpiece of this elegant brooch. A completely original Victorian brooch (no reproduction!)
The brooch weighs 6.9 grams
Stones: 24 pieces 3 mm beads, 31 seed pearls and amethyst of 10x8 mm with an estimated weight of 2.5 ctw beautifully situated in the brooch. The pearls and amethyst are in excellent condition with no damage.
Brooch sizes: 3.81 cm long and 1.91 cm. Wide.
Hallmark: 15K yellow gold. The pin is not marked but tested 15K gold and later in time equipped with a safety lock. Can I catogorize this brooch under Etruscan jewelry.
