Vicke Lindstrand Vase 1960's probably. Created a series of these vases. Have seen an owl in blue, rabbits in green, and deer in red, and possibly there are more out there. One like this one featured sold at Christies for £881 a few years back. Signed on base: Kosta 46682 Lindstrand with a Christie's label still on it.
It is a fabulous Graal, I suppose! Never seen one like it! Thanks for sharing it, Mart!
Very interesting. Is it an "Ariel" (trapped air bubble) technique, or is the design deep carved (acid etched) on the surface?
very pretty!!!!!!!!!!!
Very pretty. Never seen one like this before, thank you for sharing!
Thankyou for all your comments. I was informed it was from the Unikat series but I'm not 100% sure of this fact. It is though Intaglio, deeply engraved copper wheel cut and on the reverse textured free-form fluid organic shape-so the info says!!
I'll put up a couple more photos for clarity.
Super jealous!!!!! Stunning piece :)
This is one of the most beautiful pieces of glass I have ever seen! Not going to find that in a thrift .
LOL!! I so agree with you Ulysse!!
Sadly they don't make that now, one sold at auction last year didn't even hit £300
