    A Gunnar Nylund 1955 designed Vase with George and the Dragon engraving deeply cut into the glass. 30cm/12 inches ht. Created for the Penta company in 1955 to celebrate 25 years of their existence. Ragnar Bergqvist possibly the engraver.

      So it is a Strombergshyttan piece?

      Yes, Vetraio50. It's about 30cm tall and very heavy. The photo really doesn't do it justice! Unbelievably detailed work-I've been told possibly engraved by Ragnor Bergqvist at Strombergshyttan.

      Nice piece! Good that I could help you with the information on this vase! An early Nylund design from Strömbergshyttan. Curved tops of vases found in much of his pottery from the 1950s as well

      Those 2 words are german and mean " years with" if I read it correctly!!

      Yes, it reads '25 years with PENTA' (which in itself means 'five')...
