A special thanks to a generous friend in Chicago the lovely AmberRose! Amber had sent a parcel to the land of Oz that included a beautiful jug by DeSimone and a bold gold bowl of Alessi spaghetti. Kev and Paul give thanks to our dear friend and her family in the USA!
There will be a follow up will be some words about this jug and bowl.
It also provides me the opportunity to wish everyone at CW a Happy Easter!
And thanks to you and Scotty too, Sean. Buona Pasqua!

I had planned on sending you the Alessi and a batch of cookies. I had the box (used by Sean) but ran out of tape. Ran to store for tape which is right next door to thrift.
DiSimone was sitting there waiting for me/you. (Bonus was that it was paid for by change at the bottom of my purse). Obviously was meant for you. Unfortunately cookies and jug couldn't fit. They were rather tasty...next time.

I hear that. We are currently on spring break and are in Milwaukee checking it out. We had an amazing German dinner last night. Woke up full. My big diet of 2013 will start at end of week. Got too many events this summer to feel this chunky :))
Three months in so far on this one. But Easter will be difficult with chocolate specials at the supermarkets come Monday. I've lost a fair bit - does fifteen kilos make sense? German food? Hmmm Knödel mit ... Fleisch? miam! Carbs!
