I think these are rather rare as I found only one other example of a gold decorated Ozone vase. Most are not decorated.
Interesting Secessionist gold leaves and vines and gold rim. Polished pontil. 7.25 inches high.
Signed : numbered on the bottom I/160 ( Loetz style number ).

Beautiful pair!

I think elegant is a very good way to describe them...beautiful as well....:-)
Oh! inky they are just so beautiful - what a lovely find!! Still waiting for my Loetz!! Did they travel far?
Sorry LoetzBuddies - thought they were inky's (must be a confused day! Not on the wine yet!! Lol!! - but comment still applies!
Does anyone know what the numbers on the bottom mean ? Maybe decoration style ?
THANKS to all for the comments.
The numbers are the design number. Loetz etched vases are marked with a three digit number proceeded by I/ (the first one is I/160, and the 2nd should be the same as far as I know). The I stands for "decor" I believe. That's what I know.
These are beautiful; I agree with that description.
Hi Frank ... and nice to have the id on the base ...
... Was there a discussion a while back about the blue opalescent ground being "ozone" ...
I'm going for the 160 being the Dekor ... Agree with DAS that the first numbers should be the same ... Could we have pics of both ?
SteveS : I checked again and both are I / 160. Maybe I need new glasses.
