Good morning fellow collectors
I found these earrings a while back at a Thrift store and thought they were kind of cool. I also thought my daughter might like them, although she didn't! I kept them and thought I might find out what their story was. It seems like they do have an interesting story about them. They were made in Paris, France by a company called Cyclope. They are made by artist out of different types of recycled materials such as silver and pewter, thereby calling it "green" jewelry. They also make bracelets, necklaces, etc. This pair of earrings were made out of a couple of forks or spoons. I am not sure if they are pewter or silver. I also don't know how they made it from France to North Carolina! It's funny the things you find and the stories that go with them. These are definitely"keepers". Not sure what category they go in. Has any body else seen anything from this company? Thanks for looking and have a great Easter holiday. Thrifty
