These are a collection of shots from my younger days before we moved out to the farm in 1970. Every year our Hamilton Fire Dept. came around for an annual Home Fire Safety Inspection. My mom would hustle us out there to get a picture on the fire truck. Years later I got to drive that firetruck . I'm still driving them today, and still loving it!!
Thank-you Michael!
Looking serious! in those!!! boots... great photos!.....:-)
Great pictures, I like the old Mack truck as well! :-)
Love the photo's and the story with them ! How wonderful are you are fireman now ? And the one with you in the huge boots is priceless :-))
Thank-you inky, walksoftly, Manikin, and Phil for the nice comments.
I loved that old Mack too walk, we only had it my first year on the job, 25 years ago. The last of our standard shifting transmission pumpers, and last red before changing to yellow. Thankfully we are back to red now.
Yes Mani, still on the job. I drive an aerial ladder, huge truck on narrow streets, lots of fun!
Hey Phil, not something I thought much of, until I spent 7 years at a steel factory! So glad I made the change even 25 years later, never a regret! And you are right, so nice to have these old pictures now! Thanks again!
