Doesn't get any cooler! My husband, Jim (44 yrs old) aquired he and his twin brother's 6 complete sets (top & bottom row) of 'mostly' mint condition hot wheels and match box cars. I never knew how intricate these cars really are. There are tiny little removable men inide many of them and in the farm tractor-trailer there are little removable cows and goats. Get this.....The inside tops of the car-cartons has a message inscribed inside a pencil-made heart, the following... "Jimmy + Farrah Faucett Majors" The other sets have, "Johnny + Farrah Faucett Majors" HA! They wish! I think it makes the sets even more valuable :)
We have the yellow elephant ranger truck and the red and blue fire engine. We played with ours though...a lot lol
Not sure if we have the elephant ranger but definitely have two red fire engines with retractable ladder :) Jim and John played with theirs too but lucked out at keeping most of the 200 they have in one piece. There are a few that they decided to hand paint jet-black. Guess they were "into" the muscle car thing back then haha
The elephant ranger is in the second pic :P
I tore the roof off of a few of mine with pliers because I wanted convertibles. My mom threw them away because they had jagged edges lol
those fire truck are worth something
really? any idea how much?
Red lines are the cars that are good In pkg is best case is good too.I have a large collection.Old matchbox in box are good too.
depends hot wheels are funny you can have to car that are the same it every way but the color of the windows or the print on the tires and that could change the price by $35 dollars or so, but the red and green one i think mint in package its $20-$30 i lost my book so i cant tell you the price for sure but i memorized a lot of the book
Great items, thanx for sharing... Hot wheels have a special place in my childhood memories and would love to start collecting but I don't know if I have room for any more.......(laughs)
