A lavishly painted octagon shaped BONE CHINA COFFEE MUG with
BLUE/MINT GREEN/24K GOLD/ALMOND ducks and flowering trees on 2 sets, of 3 opposing panels. (The mouth of the mug is round, though.) The Imari pattern can be seen on two narrow bands vertically flanking the cup’s handle and on the panel directly opposite to it. The background of the mug is pure white. The shape of the Mug's handle is as refined as you would find in bone china tea cups, and is trimmed in 24K GOLD. It measures 3 ? ” H x 3 ½” D (at the mouth). The handle adds 1 ½” to the horizontal diameter measurement.
Can anyone help identify the provenance of this mug? It is not marked at all. Also, have you ever seen others like it? If you have, do you know if they are for sale? Because I would like to have two rather than one. It would be better for any number of reasons.
Thank you
