The "pirates" chest is one of the biggest one's Ive come across in such good shape. It was given to me by a family who I nanny'd for. The small rocking chair (from what a few appraisers have told us) is an original Stickley. Would love to know for sure. My maternal grandmother needle-pointed the seat cushion. The wave-leg accent table... I just love. It has a subtle asian-inspired decail on the top surface. It was Non's (my paternal grandmother who was an orginal picker and born in 1889!) The last piece (nautica inspired) was found is someone's trash. Dated 1945 and the first piece I ever refinished. The big blemish....someone cut off the two back legs. What a trajedy! Maybe someday I can find a master craftsman who can help keep this piece an everlasting one.
Love the chest, would love to have that in my home!
