Vintage Crown Portable Record Player with Detachable Speakers.
Model STP-503, Crown Radio Corp.; Tokyo:
Suitcase design with detachable speakers, battery powered.
I did not even know they had actually built portable record players this big. I do not commonly collect radios or record players, but this is so gorgeous, I immediately fell in love with it when I saw it on the sidewalk at my local flea market (and quite a bargain!). Now it holds a special place in my collection.
