Hello First photo is old farm house with my grandfather standing in front, later I remember the windmill, crumpled in a pile on the ground. A plane hit it! I think it was from Lincoln Air Force Base, which was close by. This happened in the 40's. I remember only once my mother talking about it. She said didn't you (my dad) who was a Navy Pilot ever fly crazy and have fun? I looked at my dad and he said to my mother, "we will talk about this later" and smiled. 2nd photo my dad in Asparagus patch. LAST photo my Uncle Charlie from Waverly Ne. close to Lincoln, his 3 sons had a baby coyote and we all played with it for a couple of days, when my uncle found out he grabbed it and haha it bit him! He got the rabies shots! thanks for looking! don

hi don -- just amazed at the things you have saved -- and as one nebraskan to another they totally fascinate me -- wonder how we were able to meet on cw -- currently asparagus is 1.68/lbs in vancouver, wa -- are ted and i making total pigs of ourselves -- oh yes and tonights menu is steamed asparagus and brussell sprouts with one stalk of celery, one half of a baked potato with lemon and a very small portion of wild caught alkaska salmon -- ymmmmmmmm -- may i sit you and your wife a place for supper tonight -- i know we would have the most interesting dinner conversation -- hugs dear one and thanks for posting -- you are so much better than the crap on television -- or at least until 9pm when we get some very nice programming on oregon public television
