Ook voor Gea:
This time a rather simple but no less beautiful Micro Mosaic brooch. It is in almost mint condition (only one tesserae missed). Depicting two (loving) doves , branches and daisies on a turquoise colored background. Mounted in vermeil. This brooch was probably made the last half of the 19th century. Might not need to mention it again because I've said it on serveral occasions in earlier Micro Mosaic descriptions : the smaller the tesserae (tiles) the older the jewelry. Hopefully you like this brooch too?

Freitheit I read your introduction. Very interesting. As Germany is our great neightbour and some of my ancestors came from Germany I'm very interested in this country, people, and so on. I bouth there also some very interesting antique jewelery. Also interested in the language, interesting is that my brother studied German language.
