British Atomic Bomb Test Souvenir

This is a aluminium and chrome lighter with a chromed brass plate glued to it with a map of Christmas Island on it, with named geographical features and the latitude and longitude.

My dad joined the British Army in 1956 (24 years in total) and got this from someone who was at the British atom bomb tests on Christmas Island from 1956-59. Other than, this person was there, and it was a very long time ago, my dad cannot provide any more details.
