Found this today at thrift. Took a chance for 8.99. Got it home to discover it may be a very good find. Satin art glass from 1930's? Yes Amber it is glass:)

Valentino, to answer your question I have posted this link. Phoenix Glass had molds borrowed in the 30's from Consolidated Glass, along with all the postings of the vase citing 30's.

certainly looks like a Phoenix #357 Flying Geese vase; tho' I understand that some Phoenix glass has been reproduced. CW member 'munciepots' would be the one to ask, as he authored a book on Phoenix & Consolidated glass. Try a Google image search for: Phoenix Flying Geese vase
Thanks tallcakes. This is a strange thing. Everything is listed as Phoenix Consolidated Glass but researching says they are two different companies. Phoenix supposedly borrowed their molds for a few years and supposedly only made one color vases not the blue with white geese and other colors. It would be good to have an expert explain. I would like to know how long Phoenix Glass made this vase. Did they stop when they gave molds back to Consolidated I wonder. Article I have link to says they did but who knows?
I don't know too much of the history of Phoenix Glass but there are a few online references. My link at glass encyclopedia says 1933 - returned 1936. I have read so many different things and dates may never know for sure:) if you can believe anything you read it is a pretty good short history.
