Thanks Bellin, I thought it might be a decent piece. Amber may be right about going to the dark side but I'll never tell her that:)
Thanks czechman
Thanks Valentino.
Valentino, can't find your vase can you send it to top.
Love it!! Saw a similar one on e-bay with fish - wish I had bought it now!!:(
Thanks Justanovice.
Thanks Phil
Valentino, to answer your question I have posted this link. Phoenix Glass had molds borrowed in the 30's from Consolidated Glass, along with all the postings of the vase citing 30's.

certainly looks like a Phoenix #357 Flying Geese vase; tho' I understand that some Phoenix glass has been reproduced. CW member 'munciepots' would be the one to ask, as he authored a book on Phoenix & Consolidated glass. Try a Google image search for: Phoenix Flying Geese vase
Thanks tallcakes. This is a strange thing. Everything is listed as Phoenix Consolidated Glass but researching says they are two different companies. Phoenix supposedly borrowed their molds for a few years and supposedly only made one color vases not the blue with white geese and other colors. It would be good to have an expert explain. I would like to know how long Phoenix Glass made this vase. Did they stop when they gave molds back to Consolidated I wonder. Article I have link to says they did but who knows?
I don't know too much of the history of Phoenix Glass but there are a few online references. Here is one stating that Phoenix used the Consolidated molds during 1937-1942: http://www.chataboutdg.com/gallery/img5944.htm. I have one cake stand in my collection by Phoenix-Consolidated: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/28224-lace-dew-drop--milk-glass-w-cobalt-cake
My link at glass encyclopedia says 1933 - returned 1936. I have read so many different things and dates may never know for sure:) if you can believe anything you read it is a pretty good short history.
Thanks Inky and Vetraio. Sorry for delay with thanks.
Thanks Moonstone
