    This is the earliest Baltimore & Ohio Railroad lantern I have ever owned (ca. 1860s). It is a brass Fixed Globe lantern with a nicely cast B&O RR clear globe and a two tube whale oil burner. Unknown what manufacturer made the lantern, but it could possibly be W.H. Bonnell or Ball & Bonnell.
