Hello, This watch is marked ELGIN and 17 Jewel on the face, it is rose gold and has 6 little rubies. I have been trying to locate a black cord watch band with rose gold findings; I can't find one any where on the internet or calling jewelers. One jeweler did tell me she had see several with a link type band not a black cord, but she had never seen a rose gold watch in this style. Can anyone help me date the watch, I would guess 1940's??? Does anyone possibly have an old Elgin catalog showing the original band? Any suggestions of where to find old watch bands would be much appreciated. I just love this watch and can't wait to wear it!!! (just for special occasions, of course!)
