A WWII book about the RAF in North Africa written by Squadron Leader G W Houghton. Originally in 1942 this 3rd edition is 1943. This version was published in Cairo, Egypt.
Another one of my favourite war books, written in a lighthearted way by someone in the thick of it. The cartoons and drawings are great too.
Someone thought enough of this book to drag it back from the middle east in their kit bag.
I paid £5.50 for this about 15 years ago from a second hand book dealer in London. That effectively was a full price. You can still get copies of this cheaply on eBay. So undervalued.
