One of my latest finds. Its a folk art/primitive single string upright bass made from a tin and wood. Stands about 5' tall and has a spring peg on the bottom and cymbals on the top. Has interesting stenciled art along the finger board and hand panted face on the head. The bridge is hinged so as the player plucks the string it taps on the top of the tin.
Anyone out there seen anything like this before?
The stenciled art, come to find out, are astrological signs.
