    These plates were a gift. They appear to be copper? They are non-magnetic because I tried using a magnet and got bupkis. The writing on them might be arabic or Indonesian? There are no markings on either side showing who made them.

      Do you know what it says? Are these plates common or could this possibly be something that was brought back from a war? I'm trying to find out if they have any historical significance at all. Want to know their back story.
