Accordions faccinate me much like steel guitars. There is so much going on when you play one. You have buttons on the left, keyboard on the right, and the in and out motion of the bellows. Left a bid at an estate sale and this was dropped off yesterday while I was at work. (Forgot to tell my lovely wife I bought it!)

I strapped it on this morning and played it (useing the term loosely) I am a piano player not an accordion player. Kind of have the buttons figured out a bit now. Amazing tone from this squeeze box.

I am a fan of Cajun and Zydeco music so I knew a few tunes I play on the fiddle and was able to pick them out on the accordion. What fun, it did weird out the schnauzer a little bit.

The instrument is a Scandalli Delfino, Made in Italy serial number 4486. Haven't found a lot of info but haven't had a great deal of time to research. I would guess it is from the 30's era but could be way off. Anyone know about these things?

I have this same Scandalli accordion, and was looking for information on it as well. Any chance you've found out anything since you posted last?

I ended up selling this to a musician friend of mine who had it gone through and is playing it regularly. No other info.
