Does anyone know anything about this little cutie, I was going to dispose of her and a friend says she is worth money, all I can see is she is made in Germany and it looks like the letters s/o on the back of her head, her body is plastic and her head and the arm and legs are some sort of composition material. the Clothes seem to be original, any help would be appreciated thanks
She is made of painted bisque not fired on paint . A German novelty doll . I would imagine she is small size . Dated early 1900-1940 . The number refer to size of head . She appears to have a neck repair that her head at one time broke off . Missing an arm ? I would not throw her out someone may fall in love with her although her value will not be real high due to condition problems . Many Companies made this types of dolls so it is hard to say who made her but sometimes that is not important like in case of this nice little girl . Her body is not plastic just a low quality composition . She could be a doll house doll too depending on size :-)
