    I don't remember where I got this piece, but it looks great alongside my Salt Glazed Stoneware collection and some other pieces of pewter.

    Only 2.75" tall, this piece does have two stamps on it (somewhat visible in the photo) that appears to be a laurel wreath on the left and a "5" superimposed onto another figure on the right.

    I do not believe it is old, but it was produced in an older style, and it is heavy for its size.

      Its a candle snuffer...like they used to use in the Victorian times...lovely!!!!!
