We found this, what I think is an old Czech/Bohemian Perfume Bottle, without a stopper in the bottom of a storage box we had in the basement. Is it old? We have no idea where it came from and we couldn't find a stopper in the box. What type of stopper would have gone on this deeply flower-etched pink crystal perfume bottle. Should we bother looking for one or is it worth selling it as is on eBay? It measures 4" and has two clear panels and 2 deeply cut panels. All comments welcome, Thanks, RER LOUMANAL
Thanks! Reproduction of what...a Czech perfume bottle? Perfume bottles has never been my forte but I know there are a lot of knowledgeable collectors of these on this site. RER

Czech perfume bottles more than not have an etched mark on the bottom either round, oblong with the name Czechoslovakia, or just the word Czechoslovakia. Sometimes it is very hard to see. You need to move the piece around until you get the right light to see it. If it has the mark the stopper usually will have the same design as the bottle. But not always. Sometimes they would have plain stoppers. But the stopper must fit flush and remove easily. I hope that helps you.
Thank You smiata! I appreciate your input and Love! RER(BOB)
Hi LOUMANAL, I'm new to the CW and I just saw this bottle while surfing sites and I have one just like it only mine's a frosted pink. I also have a clear blue but it's a bit different. This is make by I.W.Rice & Co. Inc.. Made in Japan. I could email you a picture of the stopper if you are still interested.
Thanks Berthasgirl! Thanks and sure, I'd love to see the stopper....we still have that bottle somewhere. My email address is on my loumanal listings page on CW. Bob
