Another rare item, i just purchased from Ebay dealer lisl-Hag in Austria. This one is rare , only small 5.5 cm, but probably used as an ash extinguisher, love the form, would date around 1930-35 but it is not in the original Hagenauer catalogue from around 1928. Expensive for a small item, 253 Euro, but where and when will you see another one?
WOW, its beautiful, congrats!!!!!
I Agree , small and beautiful
Amanda, did they make different sizes of the same form? This would be a stunner in any size, much more so in larger form!
Very nice!!
In the 10 plus years i have been collecting Hagenauer, this is the only one i have seen, i have seen a similar larger silvered bronze, but never this one before.

Do you have any of the Franz Hagenauer busts made of alpaca/brass and enamel? Those are absolutely incredible, but they're about 15-20,000 US last time I checked.
No i wish i did, but many of them on the market are fakes or forgeries,so you need to be very careful, they may be old, made circa 1950-70, but may copies were made in South America, Switzerland and England, so always have a good look at them , ask for Provenance, if in doubt contact Ron Hagenauer in Vienna.
Nice youtube video A, Amanda or Adam? Your collection looks amazing, & so pleased to hear mentioned Josephine Baker!! Love her. Some of the figures look very like her in one of her amazing poses.
