Here are most of my other kokeshi...
The first picture shows my 1960s kokeshi. Of the 3 sisters the first has a squeaking/crying head (makes that noise when you move it from left to right - like most of the Traditional kokeshi, including mine in the next pic.), the second is a nodder and the third has a static head. In front are a mother & son nodder pair with gold detail on their heads and squared-off bodies with stylised geometric patterns.
The second pic. starts with a thin pair with subtle markings and tied belts, then a fairly common large Chrysanthemum girl & a Traditional Naruko (area of Japan it originated from) kokeshi. In front of these are a pair of Ainu (Native population of Hokkaido) and finally a pretty standard grandpa & grandma pair.
I do have a few more, but they're currently in storage until I get a permanent job & my own place.
