When I started collecting antique jewelry I began rather fast to collect this kind of jewelry because I like so much about this type of jewelry.I have also built up a nice collection.Both these two pendants are a typical example of this type of jewelry in the 19th century. One is completely made ??of silver (the round) set diamonds the other is on the back of gold and rose cutIdiamonds set in silver. These were made in a time that brilliant shaped diamonds was not invented yet.Beautiful shine the diamonds they were put on silver foil. Very nice sprakling in romantic candlelight.
To the long one I let make a gold clip so lovely on a chain for example a pearl necklace.

I love those old cut diamonds, I try to wear them as much as possible. Nowadays everyone wants modern cut diamonds in their jewelry.
