I bought this in the mid 70's and for the life of me can not remember if it was new or not. Bottom of the dispenser base has Made in the USA on it but no makers mark. We used this the whole time the children were growing up and then later on use to fill it with dog treats... They would sit in front of it until I gave them one Lol
It will take any coin, so I don't think it was meant for anything other then home.
I have one just like this, but red! My grandma gave it to me but can't remember where she got it or what year. I do know she had it before 1978. I would love to know the manufacturer and how old it is, if you find out. :)
