This pin is nearly 5" tall, is made of and marked sterling. It appears to be rhodium plated as it has never tarnished for many years. The enameling is very pretty and sort of transparent like cloisonne enameling except that there is no pattern to the silver under the colors. There are marcasites on the stamens. Does anyone know when this may have been made, or where, or maybe even who? Any info would be appreciated. I have two of them the same size, which I wear on either side of a scarf. I always get great comments and questions that I can't answer. I'd love to have some answers! Thanks so much.
We need a picture of the back of the pin and also if there is any hallmarks like Sterling ect. thanks nice pin!
Lovely!
Welcome!
LOL...too early in the morning...saw the Sterling hallmark in your description... :)
It's obiously Art Nouveau period. I'v one myself that is of the same style.
Your can see it on the link:

In that description is another link to an European antique jewelry store.
Its Art Nouveau in style but I don't think it was made that early. You need to show us the reverse, that's where 90% of the information is at.
