Mystery glass vessel. Measures 6" x 3". I am curious to what it is and if it is old? It held water or liquid of some sort, because there is calcium deposits inside. Most likely handblown. The shape I have never seen. If someone can shed some light on this, that would be great!

      Possibly a wine vessel (Catholic)
      but I could be wrong

Thanks. I will look into that possibility.

It might be a champagne glass. Some were created to not allow you to put it down. In some cases, they came with plates with holes in them for the glass. You could hold both the glass and the plate in one hand.

Thanks for the info. I will research champagne glasses. This one is turning out to be a real tough one! Thanks again!

Nothing Catholic about this Vase! Was probably snapped into a holder that is now missing. RER(BOB)
