Hi,we have a large home with a bar full of old and weird nik-naks that we have gathered or have been given over the years!
This item seems to be for holding cigarettes and presents them when you pull up the neck of the bottle.
All markings appear perfect,even the incorporated petrol lighter is still in its position on top and actually sparks!
When the bottle is opened it plays a nice tune and the clockwork mech has a winder on the base
The whole bottle might be made of Bakelite but i am unsure
I am unsure of the age or value and would be grateful for information ,Cheers Dave UK
I have one, its not bakelite, but it is from the late 50's early 60's. They sell complete around 75.00 -100.00. There is a Hennessy one on ebay for 80.00. Dave

I seen them, I could click on the box were they were to show and get a larger image. I asked other and they couldn't do that so I quess I was lucky. hey all had muscial boxes inside so when you pulled up the despencer it would start the tune. Dave
Hi, I saw this post and I remember the time when I was a young kid in the house of my parents. I remember that black and white bottle also I remember that "fine tune"... but I don't know the name of the song and I would like to hear it another time. Can anybody solve my mystery.
